Email Opt-in Statistics

Now that you have been running Lead Box, Lead Page, and Lead Quiz campaigns, it's important to see how well it is doing. Know that starting out, there may not be much organic traffic (visitors) to your site, so having a pop-up on your home page may be a good place to start.

There are statistics available for you to track the number of times the campaigns have been run. To know the effectiveness of your campaign, you will want to compare the number of times the campaign has been run (number of opt-ins) to the total number of visitors to a page. You can get those numbers in your Google Analytics. Set Up Google Analytics

Your opt-in rate will be the number of page visits divided by the number of opt-ins.

1,000 visits
----------------              = 10% Opt-in Rate
100 EmailOpt-ins

10% is okay. That means that 90% of the people landing on the page were not convinced that the offer you had was not compelling enough for them to take the action of entering their email address.

You can keep improving your opt-in rate by increasing the relevance of your free offer (ebook, recording, event registration) and the perceived value.

To get the number of opt-ins into your free offer (Campaign) here's where you find it.
